Where is the heart?

Always pining for what I can't have.

They say home is where the heart is.
I hope I can find it where I left it and it's not been stolen.

Lost in the clouds

Fresh grass beneath, watching the sky;
Life awaits, time passes by.
Is this the heavens? The glorious end?
If only to reach you, my dearest friend.

You are the cloud, I wish I were rain;
I'd fall from beneath you, evaporating again.
You are the hope, the dream, the yearning;
You are the lesson, the rain returning.

For this I lie, I watch, I wonder;
For a glimpse of sun or hint of thunder.
To show me that you're really there;
To see you again, I'm sadly unaware.

The serenity

A place where it can rain, but when the sun shows its appearance you forget all about the rain.
You can forget all about the dark clouds in the sky.

For a moment, you can almost forget the rest of the world.

Edgar Allan Poe

Alone.

From childhood's hour I have not been
As others were; I have not seen
As others saw; I could not bring
My passions from a common spring

From the same source I have not taken
My sorrow; I could not awaken
My heart to joy at the same tone;
And all I loved, I loved alone.

Then- in my childhood, in the dawn
Of a most stormy life- was drawn
From every depth of good and ill
The mystery which binds me still:

From the torrent, or the fountain,
From the red cliff of the mountain,
From the sun that round me rolled
In its autumn tint of gold,

From the lightning in the sky
As if passed me flying by,
From the thunder and the storm,
And the cloud that took thy form

(When the rest of Heaven was blue)
Of a demon in my view.

Silver linings

Raindrops on a lonely day.

Every cloud must have a silver lining.

Until there are no more clouds.
